Clear old backups If your backup is set to NOT overwrite old backups if they exists, every new backup will create a new file or directory with the same name, but with the date and time of the backup as a complement. For example: If the original file is SimCity.exe, and the backup is NOT set to overwrite, every new backup will create: SimCity.exe |
| Now it's easy to maintain a limited number of copies of every backup and delete the old ones. On the backup options you can set that you want, for example, maintain only 2 copies of the backup. Then when you click on Clear old backups, the program will automatically select for you the older backups that can be deleted and keep the two newest unchecked. Now you only want to click on Delete. I didn't want to make this operation automatic. I don't want to delete your files. Be carefull with this function. | |
